The common part numbers of Cummins X15 cylinder heads include 5413782, 4962731 and 496273257, which are compatible with various Cummins engine models (such as QSX15-C360 to C600 series). Its design is compatible with turbocharging technology, supporting high power output (up to 503 kW) and torque (up to 2779 Nm).
Material and Structure
Made of cast iron, it has excellent high-temperature resistance and mechanical load resistance capacity 5 6 10. The cylinder head is equipped with an integrated cooling water jacket inside, which reduces the combustion chamber temperature through circulating cooling water. At the same time, it is provided with intake/exhaust valve seats, valve guide holes and fuel injector holes (a characteristic of diesel engines). The cylinder head with overhead camshaft design also includes camshaft bearing holes to optimize valve control efficiency.
Technical standard
The manufacturing precision requirements are strict. The allowable coaxiality deviation between the valve seat ring and the guide pipe hole is 0.01-0.015 mm (diesel engine standard) to ensure sealing performance and combustion efficiency. Some suppliers offer factory-certified "bare cylinder heads" or pre-installed assemblies, supporting immediate use upon installation.
