On the crankshaft surface treatment,The Company uses medium-frequency hardening to harden the crankshaft surface so that the surfacehardening depth can reach 8mm when the crankshaft round root designadopts the inner round root,The Company can provide customers withround root shot peening and rolling,so as to strengthen the surface andincrease the fatigue life o the crankshaft.
Heat treatment
Quenching and tempering treatment: Quenching at 850-880℃ and tempering at 550-600℃ to obtain a tempered sorbite structure with a hardness of HRC28-32.
Surface strengthening: Nitriding treatment (nitriding at 500-550℃, layer depth 0.2-0.3mm) or high-frequency quenching (surface hardness HRC50-55).

Dynamic balance correction
The unbalance is controlled within the range of 15-30g·cm by removing weight (drilling) or adding weight (welding balance blocks).

Surface treatment
Polishing: Use a super-precision grinding machine to perform mirror finishing on the journal (Ra≤0.1μm).
Rust prevention treatment: Phosphating or electroplating (such as hard chromium plating with a thickness of 0.01-0.03mm).

Quality inspection
Non-destructive testing: Magnetic particle inspection (crack detection sensitivity 0.1mm), ultrasonic inspection (internal defect detection).
Dimensional inspection: A three-coordinate measuring machine is used to inspect key dimensions (tolerance grades IT6-IT7).
Fatigue test: The bench test simulates the actual working conditions to verify the life of ≥10^7 cycles.
