The Mercedes-Benz OM442 is a V8 heavy-duty diesel engine produced from 1987 to 1996. It belongs to the OM400 series and is suitable for SK series heavy trucks, Neoplan buses and construction machinery. Currently, its ownership is concentrated in Germany, South Africa, Russia/CIS, Poland/Eastern Europe, Saudi Arabia/Middle East and Brazil.
